Position Descriptor:

Our Data Architects are working with engineering teams on schema, index, and query design to support application development; for state-of-the-art healthcare applications that will empower hundreds of thousands of providers and administrators in the Healthcare delivery process. You will participate in the design, development, analysis, and management of multiple complex data sources in support of a suite of clinical products.

JOB Description:

-Work with engineering teams on schema, index, and query design to support application development
- Perform analyses and optimize queries for different use cases and efficiency
- Perform conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling around clinical concepts and workflows
- Develop stored procedures to support ETL functionality
- Work closely with product stakeholders to ensure software works as designed
- Deal with highly sensitive and confidential information and adhere to data security and confidentiality protocols and procedures
- Work and communicate with a talented development team in a highly agile Scrum environment
- Keep quality, patient safatey, and privacy a top priority
- Embrace opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Required Skills:

- 3+ years of industry experience working with large-scale databases
- Strong experience working with RDBMS systems like PostgreSQL.
- Experience with data manipulation and database query languages (e.g., T-SQL, pl-SQL)
- Experience with data modeling and normalization techniques
- Experience with data replication technologies
- Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) and analytics processes and tool

Desired Skills:

-Knowledge of HL7 and other healthcare data standards like C-CDA
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis
