Hello everybody,

The Sydney PostgreSQL Users Group will meet on Tuesday, February 3rd,
at 6:30PM, at Fujitsu Australia in North Sydney.

PostGIS is a PostgreSQL spatial extension library that provides full,
standards compliant support for geometric objects. This meeting's presentation,
by PostGIS developer Mark Leslie, will provide a short overview of the
history and motivations of PostGIS, who uses it and why and will delve
into the capabilities of the library.

Meet in the foyer of 15 Blue St North Sydney at 6:30pm. The meeting
will be held in the View Room on level 16. The building is next to the
North Sydney train station exit on Blue Street. Please RSVP if you're
planning to attend.

Free beer as usual.

Thanks,

Charles Duffy
