Hello All,
Our company www.inmobi.com is looking for a fulltime
PostgreSQL/EnterpriseDB DBA in Bangalore, India.

Below is the Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

- Building new database servers and systems
- Administer production, and pre-production
PostgreSQL<https://twiki.corp.inmobi.com/bin/edit/Ops/PostgreSQL?topicparent=Ops.OpsJobDescriptions;nowysiwyg=0>
databases.
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
- Ensure and verify that backups are performed regularly on all databases
through automation.
- Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills, including stored
procedures, functions, triggers etc
- Implement database replication across LAN and WAN.
- Work as part of a team and be in on-call rotation.
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and educate developers about
best practices.
- Evaluate and redesign database architecture from BCP and Scalability
perspective.

Requirements
* At least 3-5 years of production, HA, scalable RDBMS Administration
experience.
* Any scripting(shell,perl or python) experience.
* Applied knowledge of DBA best practices and concepts.
* Strong problem solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The candidate should be accountable, self-starter, genuinely
interested in all the aspects of production DBA work.

Preferred

* Experience with PostgreSQL/EnterpriseDB and DataWarehousing is a big
plus
* If no PostgreSQL experience available, qualified candidate must
possess production experience in any major open source RDBMSs, preferably
MySQL.
