Hi all,

I'm searching for a Unix implementation of ODBC working on SPARC 64 bits?
iodbc doesn't seem to work well. DataDirect is really good but not free. And
UnixODBC doesn't seem to compile.

Any ideas?

What unixODBC version? If 2.2.14 doesn't work on Sparc I'm sure I'll
be hearing about it from the Fedora Sparc crowd pretty soon. See also
patches here:
http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/rpms/unixODBC/devel/

Hi Guilliame,

What is the problem you are having using iODBC on SPARC 64bit (I presume
running Solaris), as it has been ported to Solaris SPARC 64bit for over a
decade and bundle with the OpenLink ODBC Drivers for this OS across the
various Solaris releases over the same period.

The Version of iODBC being used and details of the problem being encountered
would be useful to have. Note you can also report an issues/bugs to the
iODBC project mailing lists and trackers on source forge
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/iodbc/support).

Best Regards

My customer had problems with unixodbc, not iodbc. Anyways, problem
solved. But thanks for asking.

Forgot to answer on this one, sorry.

Thanks for you answer. I forwarded it to my customer, I need to ask him
how he solved the issue.
