Hello, i´m try to install postgresql 8.10 in a server with Windows 2003
server standart edition.

I install XAMPP and postgresql 8.10 but the sistem don´t work. All
components are tested, i can open a database with postgre but in the sistem,
the paga that do it dont work.

What do it?, are there any special configuration for this operate sistem?

8.1.0 you mean? 8.10 doesn't exist
by the way, that version is *not* supported on windows and has several
nasty bugs

how do you install it? what do you mean by: "i can open a database but
in the sistem, the paga that do it dont work.". you have any install
errors?

Buenas, gracias por la opción en español (mi ingles es malo)

He instalado postgre en windows 2003 server, he bajado las base de datos de
mi sistema y mediante el manejador de postgre las puedo ver, modificar, etc.

Desde el sistema esto no ocurre. Solo muestra una ventana del explorador y
se queda en blanco.

He instalado apache, php y postgre desde su instalador para windows. Como
mencioné, ellos trabajan bien en su entorno, pero el sistema no carga.

que sistema es ese? en que esta escrito?
no necesitas crear un odbc o una conexion a traves de un driver
similar? sabes donde debes poner la informacion necesaria para que tu
sistema sepa donde debe buscar a postgres?

generalmente eso ultimo se hace en un odbc, en un archivo de texto o
en un archivo de configuracio dependiendo del lenguaje y del sistema
que estes usando
