Does anyone have a copy of the Postgres95 email archives. I had a copy
in July but can't find it now on my server. I have emailed it to a few
folks who asked in the past.

Bruce,
some messages for 1995-1996 are available from our pgsql.ru archive
http://www.pgsql.ru/db/mw/read.html?section=-1&perpage=20&action=Read&sdb_d=1&sdb_m=1&sdb_y=1995&sde_d=5&sde_m=12&sde_y=1996&weight=0&format=1
Also, I have in my sent-messages box messages I sent in 1995-1996 years.
I was sure that I should have regular mbox with 1995/1996 messages, but
didn't find on usual place. I should check other servers, probably.

Oleg,
the following archive help me a lot. Thanks!
(archives in www.postgresql.org seems to lose earlier mails in
pgsql-*).
BTW, your archive does not seem to have pgsql-committers. I'm
wondering when I became the committer. To know that I need to know the
first commit mail in pgsql-committer list archive.

CVS history shows your first commit as
1999-03-23 23:22 ishii
* src/configure.in: Add KOI8/WIN/ALT to the multi-byte encoding
selections
I don't think we had a pgsql-committers mail list back then --- anyway
the archives of it on postgresql.org only go back to Apr 2000.
