Hi
I have to connect to postgreSQL db server running on windows from an linux
server.
I have two linux servers,one server is able to connect to the db but the
other server fails in connection.
Below error message is displayed when SqlConnect library call fails

*{State=28000/NativeErr=210/FunRet=-1}[unixODBC]Unexpected protocol
character during authentication;
Error while reading from the socket. *

I have checked the system & network configurations of both machines and they
are same.
I even checked the odbcpsql drivers & kernal versions of both machines,even
that is same.

I would be very thankful if someone can help me regarding this.

Regards
Mohammad Arif
