An excellent brain dump from Tom and lots of other good stuff in this
thread. I just dumped a summary of all the profiling lore discussed onto
http://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/Profiling_with_OProfile as I don't know
that I've ever seen a concise intro to this subject before.
