Hi,

I've just installed Postgresql 7.3 via Cygwin on Win2K, started the
postmaster successfully, yet cannot connect using psql. See below for trace:

$ pg_ctl start -D /usr/share/postresql/data -l serverlog
postmaster successfully started

$ psql
psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
Is the server running locally and accepting
connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"?

I've attached my .conf.

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance,
-Paul
