Term: Full-Time/Direct-Hire
Location: St. Louis, MO
Salary: +/- $100k

Preferred credentials include planning and organizational skills, project management, and technical knowledge, including advanced queries and data mining. Ability to work on most phases of database systems administration with a focus on (but not limited to) PostgreSQL environment; knowledge of additional database environments (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL) a plus; working knowledge of data warehousing, extract transform and load (ETL), migration of data from legacy database platforms, backup and restore procedures; ability to modify databases to solve moderately complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations; knowledge of system development and/or maintenance technologies to support the infrastructure that assigned databases resides upon and maintains that infrastructure. Knowledge of technical features to assist in problem determination and resolution will be key, with the ability to consult with clients and higher-level technicians and analysts to resolve technical problems and ensure client satisfaction; ability to interact with client to discuss alternative technical solutions.
