PostgreSQL DBA/ Data Engineer - San Jose CA - Permanent

A fast growing company in San Jose, in the field of manufacturing analytics is looking to add a Data Engineer to their team.
Must have:

* PostgresSQL DBA experience
* PostgresQL development
* Strong ETL/ELT experience (Jaspersoft, Streamsets, Informatica or any other ETL processing engine. Familiarity with Data Pipelines, Data Lakes and modern Data Warehousing practices (virtual data warehouse, push down analytics etc.)
* Cloud Based Infrastructure (ideally AWS and the very many services it offers).

Nice to have:

* EC2, RDS, AWS Redshift/Redshift Spectrum, S3/Athena and any one of Aurora, DynamoDB etc. Redshift
* Experience with another Cloud Provider such as GCP and/or Azure.
* Experience or interest in supply chain domain.
* Experience with working with a distributed team with international locations.

Duration: Ideally permanent employee. Open to contractors, but must work onsite.
Relocation provided. No remote employees.
