I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago: perhaps there is a better
way to reach the people that run the postgresql.org website?

On the mailing lists, Tip #5 has a dead link:

TIP 5: Have you checked our extensive FAQ?

The correct link is:

http://www.postgresql.org/docs/faqs/FAQ.html

Since the mailing lists are archived, I'd put a symlink on that
old URL to point it to the correct one.
