Data Architect job- PostgresSQL required

ReallaeR has a full-time position open in the Washington, DC area to assist
in the collection and analysis of data, principally video data that is
retained in a repository designed to organize information for
multi-disciplinary research.

He/she should have the ability to design and implement data entry and the
access forms listed below for a PostgreSQL database. The following forms
will be designed to facilitate accurate and consistent interactions with the
database.

. Variable Entry Forms support data coding by interns. Variables
such as "age" and "style of dress" are included in this set. The form must
include error handling to adhere to appropriate coding rules. Forms include
bulleted lists, check boxes, and open text fields where appropriate.

. User Management for the adding/removing/altering of system users
without the need for manual database entries. A system user in this case is
any person that would add data or metadata information to the database.

. Database Maintenance includes system updates, backups, and
reliability and availability of the system to authorized users.

. Data Analysis Support to researchers to extract information from
the database and tabulate the information in a specific format.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have previous experience in PostgreSQL and
MySQL database operations and metadata tagging, plus a working knowledge of
either the iOS or Android app development environment with demonstrations of
work that has been performed.

He/she must have a bachelor's of science degree in a computer-related field
and 2 years of experience with database and mobile app development.

The successful candidate will currently have or can obtain a security
clearance and be able to work onsite at the Naval Research Laboratory. Only
local candidates to the Washington, DC area will be considered.
