Hello,
The second PostgreSQL Coffee morning is arranged for Friday the 6th of October at 9:15 AM, at the Voodoo Espresso 'Beanery', 130 Abercrombie St. in Chippendale.
Grant Allen from Gen-i (and GrantOnData) will speak for 40 minutes or so, on what a business or government department goes through when porting to PostgreSQL – with an emphasis on the cultural shift needed, how to engage management and what makes PostgreSQL an "easy" target platform for software vendors, and how to persuade them to consider shifting their product to PostgreSQL.
