I just checked and you are incorrect. httpd.conf was in the automatic 
backup:

/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

svn: warning: 'community2.commandprompt.com/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf' 
is already under version control
Sending        community2.commandprompt.com/.config

Committed revision 483.

I also verified that it runs properly from cron:
