Re: [Fwd: Delivery Status Notification (Failure)]

I wrote:
I can't find an address to complain about the mailing list itself, so apologies but I'm posting directly to this list. Every time I post to this group, I get returned mails about OTHER subscribers' invalid accounts, like the one below.

Michael Glaesemann replied:
Is this when you're replying to a post or creating a new post? If the former, and you're using reply-to-all, you'll be sending one message to the list and another directly to the poster of the message you're responding to.

And Richard Broersma Jr replied:
Does the message come from postgresql.org or is the bounced email coming from these specific users
when you include them in reply-all?

Thanks to both for your answers. But no -- It's for new posts. In fact, when writing the email that started this thread, it was only to pgsql-performance(at)postgresql(dot)org (I double-checked by using emacs on my Thunderbird "Sent" folder), yet I still got another "undeliverable" reply along with your message:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed.
