Best cache setting?

ODBC v:8.2 My queries routinely return 10K+ rows of data. What would be the best cache setting I can use to get the best throughput? I have Declare/Fetch set with a cache default of 100. Should I turn off Declare/Fetch? Thank you. Patrick Hatcher
