PostgreSQL Database Administrator

 

Would you like to be part of a small company with a very unique business
model based on intellectual Property Assets (patents)?  There are currently
6 terabytes of data in a SQL Server database which is being converted to a
PostgreSQL database.  The performance challenges are many ..One current
program runs for 30+ days - and it needs to be run at least weekly.  Some of
the analysis involved calculations with 2+ billion rows.

If you have DBA experience with very large databases and would love a new
challenge in a great working environment, this is a great career move for
you.

 

The background that you will need to be successful in this role includes: 

5+ years experience as a DBA

Strong experience with at least 2 databases. PostgreSQL preferred, but not
required.
