Hi folks,

I work for Marakana, an open-source training company based in San  
Francisco, and we are looking for instructors to teach our 2-day  
PostgreSQL Admin training course (on-site, per-diem) in US and Canada.

We are also looking for Postgres experts that could teach a 5-day  
customized version of this training course, as outlined below:

PostgreSQL Administration class is designed for DBAs and developers  
who are looking to install, administer, and use this powerful database  
system.
This course is based on our PostgreSQL Admin (http://marakana.com/training/sql_database/postgresql_admin.html 
), but will be extended to a total of 5 days, and customized to  
include the following:
1 full day of backup and recovery strategy.
4 days of general technical topics, emphasizing client's environment,  
including:
- PostgreSQL with Python/psycopg, Perl, ODBC, best practices, writing  
queries, tuning queries
- Data manipulation including joins, dictionary tables and contents,  
roles & privileges, explain plans, pl/pgsql(cursors, triggers)
- PostgreSQL security, Kerberos and MD5, restricting access, best  
practices
- Replication options and restrictions (pgpool & slony)
- Short cuts and tricks of the trade
- Pgadmin
