Job Description:
Education Services Manager

 
Manage EnterpriseDB Educational Services. Deliver and maintain high quality, professional educational offerings to the EnterpriseDB and PostgreSQL database community. Educate EnterpriseDB personnel and partners. Deliver a consistent high quality professional educational product to EnterpriseDB customers. 
Specific Responsibilities
·         Establish customer quality metrics for EnterpriseDB Education Services
·         Maintain high level of customer satisfaction related to overall education experience
·         Maintain existing educational materials in step with product release cycles
·         Develop Organizational Standards for EnterpriseDB Educational Materials
·         Develop new educational offerings to support new product functionality
·         Evaluate and implement educational initiatives, including but limited to:
            Web Based, Self Paced training
            Educational software packages
            3rd Party Training and Certification
            EnterpriseDB Education Services website presence
·         Establish public training schedule
·         Recruitment of Education Services team as needed
Requirements
General
·         6+ years experience in education services with emphasis on:
            Courseware development
            Curriculum management
            Personnel management
·         Relational Database Training Experience:
            Database Administrator
            Database Development
            Advanced Database Concepts
·         Proven track record of achieving results in training organizations within software product companies
·         Proven track record of introduction of innovative educational services offerings 
·         Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork 
·         Ability to manage a broad set of responsibilities 
·         Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
 
Technical
·         PostgreSQL RDBMS experience
·         Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
·         Experience with professional courseware management products
 
Desired
·         Experience in a start-up software company 
·         Experience with Open Source Software products
 
Education and Experience
Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science, or related field
