Set NULL Using PQexecParams

Is it possible to set a NULL value as a parameter value to PQexecParams? I.e., other than hard-coding it into the command string. The idea is mostly for UPDATE statements, so a column could be set to null if it otherwise does not have a valid value. Thanks, Keary Suska Esoteritech, Inc.
