postgresql 8 beta 4 will not install

I've been able to install version 8.0.0 beta 4 on
two machines but the third one fails. The Windows Installer starts but after a
few seconds the installer widow disappears.
I'm using Win2K with all current service
packs.
Any ideas on what is wrong or how I can make this
work?
