That all other services are handled through the service MMC snapin.

That's not a reason not to support *both*, though.


Not to mention the fact that it is by far the easiest way to ensure that the db is brought back up on reboot.

We have to provide both facilities IMNSHO - the issue is not one or the other, but making sure that they don't collide badly.
