It would seem to me that you want people on the board, regardless of
citizenship that can help the EU group in the most positive way.

We are, IIRC, requesting that you're either a european citizen or live in europe. Either one will work.

And please note that this being an *EU* country is *not* a requirement. Just european. Yes, they're different.

SPI for example does not have any such requirement.

But SPI is a global organization, no?
