Re: PGDay 2008
Hi guys,
this is exactly my initial idea. Please read the message I had posted in July on this list (unfortunately I cannot find the archive, as the list has been moved - maybe is still somewhere):

We could even issue a PGDay everywhere in
Europe. For instance the day dd-mm-yyyy is declared to be the PostgreSQL Day in
Europe, and every single country organises a
local fest for PostgreSQL promotion (oriented therefore to users and
local developers). It is more or less what happens with the "Linux Day"
in Italy.
And convert the PGDay that we have done this year in Prato in a more 'PGCon'-like event.

So, yes. I am up for this: a European event, plus a day in Europe (chosen to be the European PG Day) where local groups promote it.
Ciao,
Gabriele
