postgreSQL-Installationsproblem

Hallo! Betriebssystem: Fedora core 3, bzw FC 4 habe mit dem Befehl "yum install postgresql" als root postgresql-7.4.11-1.FC3.1 installiert. Allerdings funktioniert der folgende Befehl noch nicht: initdb -D /usr/local/pgsql/data Was habe ich falsch gemacht? Danke f}r Hilfe Philipp
