Re: Pgsql as service in windows



If you would have installed postgresql via http://cygwin.com/setup.exe
and read the accompanying docs you would have seen how to do that.

/etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql install
installs postgresql as service, and
/etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql start
starts the service.

which has service.bat..to start that manually as a service?

Am in a project, in which previously they used a Batch file to start
postgresql as a service.
i dont know where they get that batch file..

please reply me asap.as this is urgent..
