That *is* interesting... and maybe the hook for talking about the Skype code.  Developing for the leading edge release in tight coordination with the hacker community, instead of (my words here, just a guess) beating old MySQL code into shape then trying to persuade the MySQL guys to take your patches.

Is Marko or anyone else from Skype on this list?
