Got it figured out - I have since upgraded to the Ubuntu packages you recommended, and then removed an incorrect line from my /etc/ld.so.conf file.

Got it figured out - I have since upgraded to the Ubuntu packages you recommended, and then removed an incorrect line from my /etc/ld.so.conf file.
