Knowing someone could help me tonight motivated me to REALLY try to figure this out on my own.
... didn't want to look like an idiot. So thank you for your offers of help. The problem was my pg_hba.conf setting (of course).Anyway, I'm sure I'll have additional questions. Hope to see you tonight.
