The following bug has been logged online: Bug reference: 4331 Logged by: Volker Rudolph Email address: v(dot)rudolph(at)truck24(dot)com PostgreSQL version: 8.3.3 Operating system: Windows XP Description: Postgres Installer doesn't provide complete library files Details: Postgres 8.3.3 installer creates include/library pathnames and content. The library is not complete, which leads to a linker error (minGW): - cannot find -lpq Fix: Download "no-installer" files and add the missing library files.
